In August 1st ,2018 Yamama and Ruba has organized a two hours workshop for six schools girls who has learned how to develop a VR app using Unity.
The workshop was about introducing them to the differences between webVR and the normal VR app and how web VR is better in different ways.
Also, students got introduced to A-frame and glitch.com and wrote a code for small web VR app.
It is noteworthy to mention that Yamama and Mofeed Arafat were mentors of four of the six girls in Technovation global challenge which is challenge that required from each team to develop a mobile application that solve a community problem. The team reached the final stage and participated in the global pitch in silicon valley. They won the senior silver scholarship and the people’s choice award for their VR project which is an awareness game called “Be a firefighter” that provides real fire situation and asks the users to do the right action to extinguish an existed fire or prevent fire from happening.
